just wanted to say hi ! been lurking & studying here and other forums in preparation for starting to blend some e85 in one or more of my 3800 supercharged cars.

seems like a good fit for a non intercooled application.

allready installed larger injectors ,larger fuel pump , and rewire of pump

just need to get my wideband online before I start mixing.

going straight e 85 wont be practical for me until its available closer to home , I live in Maine and the closest place to get it is 2 states away in Mass so I will be filling cans or a drum.

by the time it gets to Maine I hope to have it dialed in and be ahead of the curve Wink

Welcome murphinator-- sounds more like you ARE set up for full blown E85 with all those mods. I am all stock when running E30 in my Saab, Silverado, and Yukon. Trims indicate still good provided open loop is learned. However- only my Saab is turbochargd. My stuff has 3+ years and a lot of miles on E20-30 without any issues to date.

What % are you planning to run?

Are you running stock supercharger and pressures?

I plan on starting at 20% e85 blended with the e10 thats available in the pumps around here and to continue increasing the ethanol percentage provided I like what i see in my scans and wideband especially injector duty cycles since I have allready maxed them out before from adding mods.

stock injectors for my cars are 33lb and I have 42.5lb in 2 of my cars. one of those cars will be the first to get blends and is my 2002 regal gs daily driver with 202,000 miles - car runs 13.1 @108 now and I am hoping e85 can help it into the 12's and help my quicker car into the 11's ( 3800SC GTP)

I would only go straight e85 in a car that I primarily use for the track since its a drive into Boston from southern Maine to get it.

as for superchargers I run ported stock superchargers with smaller pulleys.

typically I run a 3.4 or 3.5 " pulley inplace of the stock 3.8" so around 10% overdriven but have run as small as 3.25" on 104 octane unleaded so I am hoping the e85 can help with some pulley drops.

I may have one of my cars intercooled by spring also and have been spraying a small shot of nitrous

my research is showing boost , nitrous, and e85 tend to be good friends Laughing

Keep in mind when you are looking at injector duty cycles that right now E85 is only 70% ethanol so it will require a bit more injector at summer's 85%.
But you likely already knew that Cool

E70 is $2.149 here-- what are you seeing in Boston?

I use this web site for E85 prices. There are more people reporting in the summer compared to right now. Sometimes it lists "no reported prices" because it only lists recently reported prices (30 days or something).

I use E85 in my drag race car. Even though E85 is a little expensive around here (0-10 cents cheaper than 87gas), it is way cheaper than 110 octane race gas which I was running in my 13.5 CR engine.
