Finally took the plunge and converted my MPG project car, a 99' 3 cyl. Chevy Metro to e85 last weekend.

I've hypermilled this car pretty substantially already and average about 60-63 mpg at the moment on E10.

Goal is at least 50mpg on e85. This should be doable?

I have some mods like a WAI & grill block... how would this possibly affect FE running on e85 with the higher temps?

If you can find a inexpensive cylinder head, have it milled down to increase compression. Compression help fuel mileage.

Yeah, or dome pistons.

If you were to get the head machined down anyway why not have a welder weld up the sides of the chamber a bit? That would bring up the CR.
